MiXR: Dr. Mike Yao (5-6 PM) Dr. Mike Yao (GIES and College of Media, U of I) of the MTSB (Media, Technology, and Social Behavior) Research Lab comes to VR Club to discuss! Dr. Yao - who also happens to be a professor of Digital Media and the director of the Institute of Communications Research (ICR) - will join us to discuss his research, which navigates the connections between media, tech, society, and human communication.

How do people engage with XR and other immersive multimedia, and how do these digital interactions shape our behavior and communication? (Hosted by the VR Club at UIUC.) VR Club: VR Activity (6-8 PM) Join us for an afternoon of VR-centered activities and experiences.
