Workshop: Writing the Fulbright Statements for ETA Applicants

The main components of the Fulbright application are the Statement of Grant Purpose and three short responses in place of a personal statement. In the context of an ETA application, these components should work together to paint a picture of a motivated and prepared applicant who has concrete ideas for bringing their unique perspective to bear on their pedagogical practices.

In this workshop, we will show students how best to approach each statement, how to present their project in the most direct, concrete, and convincing way possible, and how to present themselves as the ideal Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.
